An Out of Office (OOO) autoreply is a type of automated message sent by your prospect when they are temporarily unavailable and unable to respond to emails.
How Do We Handle OOO Replies?
When an OOO autoreply is received, it’s treated as a regular reply. This means:
It’s reflected in your campaign statistics under Replied;
It triggers the same logic as any other response;
The prospect is considered to have replied and will not proceed to the next steps in the sequence.
Can I Resume the Campaign for Prospects Who Sent OOO Replies?
If you'd like the campaign to continue for a prospect who sent an OOO reply, you can manually resume their sequence by finding such prospects in the list, hovering over the Paused label next to their name and clicking Resume.
You can also resume the campaign for the prospect by going to the Inbox tab, clicking on the conversation with the prospect, locating the Campaign Info section in the prospect’s card, and clicking Resume.
Another easy way to identify Out of Office prospects is by using AI-Powered Labels — a feature available on the Growth plan and above.
This tool enables our system to automatically detect OOO responses (along with other key labels) and tag them accordingly.
Once enabled, AI-Powered Labels make it simple to filter and sort your prospects with greater accuracy and efficiency.
Here’s how:
Go to the Prospects page.
Use the filters to find these prospects:
Click on Filters;
Select Auto Labels > Out of Office.
3. Locate the prospect you want to resume.
4. Hover over the Paused label next to their name.
5. Click Resume.
