Why don’t I see my Connection Request message in the Inbox?

When you send a Connection Request that includes a message, the message does not appear in your Inbox immediately.

How it works

  • If the prospect has not yet accepted your Connection Request, the message text will not be visible in the Inbox.

  • Once the prospect accepts the Connection Request, the message will then appear in the Inbox automatically.

  • The date shown for that message in the Inbox reflects the date the Connection Request was accepted, not the original date the request was sent.

This behavior is expected and does not indicate an issue with message delivery. The message becomes visible only after the connection request is accepted.
