Can't Add a New Social Account

When attempting to add a new Social account to your already existing workspace, you may encounter some minor obstacles. For instance, a Something went wrong notification may pop up or you might be presented with a billing form. Here is a quick guide on how to resolve these issues on your end.

A possible explanation for this is that your workspace has “Manual billing” enabled. In this case, by adding a new Social account, you may exceed the maximum allowable number of accounts set within the workspace.

In order to check what your maximum number of accounts is and increase this limit:

  • navigate to your workspace preferences via the Admin panel;

  • click on Manage;

  • select Manage Max Accounts;

  • adjust the number to your preferred amount;

  • click Confirm;

Once you have made the changes, refresh the page, log back into your workspace, and attempt to connect the new Social account once more.

If your account is linked to Stripe billing, you have the option to upgrade your Stripe subscription, resulting in an increased number of paid/available seats.
