We understand how frustrating it can be when your Social Account remains restricted, even after submitting your ID to the platform.
The Social Platform restrictions, in particular, can be especially difficult to resolve — support access is limited while your account is restricted, and responses (even from tickets submitted via another account) are often delayed or not very helpful.
Based on what we’ve learned from past cases that were successfully resolved, here are a few steps we recommend:
Keep Logging In Daily
Even after ID verification, it's a good idea to log in regularly. We've seen cases where accounts are quietly reactivated without any email notification. Logging in is the only way to know for sure.
Submit an Appeal Using a Different Account
If you're unable to submit a support ticket from the restricted account, try submitting one from another Social account using the appeal form below:
➡️ Appeal Form
When submitting, make sure to include:
The full name and email address of the restricted account
A screenshot of the restriction message (if you have one)
A short, clear message — for example: "We believe this restriction may be a false positive. The ID has already been submitted."
Please note: It may take 7–14 days (or sometimes longer) to hear back.
Try the "Forgot Password" Option
This may sound unrelated, but in some cases, using the “Forgot Password” option can help “nudge” an account that’s stuck in verification limbo.
Avoid Re-Submitting ID Too Soon
If you’ve already submitted your ID and see a message like “You've already submitted a request,” submitting it again usually won’t help.
At this stage, waiting it out (while continuing to log in and check email) is often the best approach.
If Urgent, Consider Starting Fresh
If access to the account is mission-critical and time-sensitive, one last resort is to create a new Social account using real information and begin rebuilding gradually. It’s not ideal, but it ensures you can stay connected and active in the meantime.
We know how stressful this process can be, especially when you're left waiting without clear updates. If you need further help navigating the steps above, don’t hesitate to reach out to our Customer Support team.
