Campaign Settings: Add Prospects from Existing Campaigns & Recontact Prospects
Last updated: April 10, 2026
Managing how prospects move between campaigns and whether you re-engage profiles you've already contacted helps you maintain a thoughtful, organized outreach strategy.
Add Prospects from Existing Campaigns
When toggled on, this setting allows you to move prospects to a new campaign if the search link or the CSV file used in the campaign contains profiles that have already been added to a previous campaign.

❗NOTE:
If this setting is activated, the profiles will be moved to the most recently created campaign. For instance, if campaigns were created in May and June, profiles will be added to the June campaign. Disabling this setting will not revert profiles to the earlier campaign. They can only be added back to the May campaign if the June campaign is deleted or archived.
Manually moved profiles will no longer be automatically transferred under the setting.
How this setting behaves in specific scenarios
Enabling the setting after campaign launch: If the campaign was launched with this setting disabled and prospects were not moved, enabling it afterward will still trigger the move — as long as the searches have already found those prospects. To make sure all eligible prospects are moved, we recommend rerunning the searches after enabling the feature.
Impact of search type: The type of search used in the campaign does not affect this process. The setting works consistently regardless of which search type you've configured.
Prospects from deleted campaigns: Prospects from deleted campaigns are eligible to be moved if all other conditions are met. Since deleted campaigns no longer retain their prospects, those profiles go into a free pool with no campaign assigned to them, making them available for your current campaign.
Recontact Prospects
This setting allows you to decide whether you want to engage profiles that you have already contacted via Social. It depends on whether you have an existing text conversation with a specific profile before starting the campaign.

If the setting is enabled at the time of the campaign launch, such profiles get added to the campaign and contacted without interruption.
NOTE: Even if the setting is enabled, some prospects may still remain paused if they have a history of completed steps in the previous campaign or were already paused before being added to the current campaign.
If the setting is disabled at the time of the launch, further interaction with previously engaged prospects is paused. To resume interaction, go to the Prospects tab, choose the relevant prospects, then click Action > Resume campaign.
💡 More About the Recontact Prospect Setting
If you move prospects from one campaign to another, the system checks for any ongoing conversations. If conversations exist, those prospects should be automatically paused to avoid sending duplicate messages.
Note: The system only looks for conversations in the main Social Inbox. If the conversations happened in Sales Navigator (SN), the system won’t detect them in this case. That means that if prospects were moved and their only conversations are in Sales Navigator, the system won’t pause them.
